AIC - Terms of Service & Legal Notice
AIC Car Audio – Terms of Service & Legal Notice
1. Deposits, Payments, and Refund Policy
All custom projects at AIC Car Audio require a minimum 50% deposit upfront. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. Final payment is due immediately upon completion of the project. No merchandise, vehicles, or enclosures will be released until full payment is received. Because our services involve 100% custom fabrication, including cutting, labor, and materials that cannot be reused, we do not offer refunds, cancellations, or exchanges once production has begun.
2. Customer-Supplied Designs & Components
Any subwoofer box design, measurements, or specifications supplied by the customer are used at the customer’s own risk. AIC Car Audio does not warranty nor accept responsibility for performance issues, structural failures, or damage caused by customer-supplied designs or inaccurate specifications. We strongly recommend allowing our team to engineer your enclosure for optimal performance and durability. All subwoofer boxes built by AIC Car Audio are custom and unique to each order.
3. Warranty and Manufacturer Coverage
All brand-new audio components sold by AIC Car Audio (amplifiers, speakers, subs, etc.) are covered exclusively by the manufacturer’s warranty policies. We do not extend or alter those manufacturer warranties. Custom enclosures are warrantied against construction defects for 30 days, only when designed and built by AIC Car Audio. Warranty does not cover misuse, overpowered systems, water damage, impact damage, or user modifications.
4. Abandonment & Storage Policy
All merchandise—including vehicles, custom enclosures, electronics, and accessories—must be picked up within 30 days of notification that your job is complete. After this grace period, all items will be considered abandoned property and may be disposed of, repackaged, or sold at AIC Car Audio’s sole discretion. AIC Car Audio is not responsible for any loss or damages resulting from abandoned items.
5. Timeline & Delays
Estimated build times are provided in good faith and are subject to change based on workload, part availability, and material supply. AIC Car Audio will not be held liable for missed deadlines due to force majeure, shipping delays, weather, power outages, or supplier shortages. No refunds or discounts will be given due to delays outside our control.
6. Damage Waiver & Liability Limits
While we take the utmost care with every vehicle and product, AIC Car Audio is not liable for pre-existing damage, mechanical failures, electrical issues, or aftermarket system conflicts during or after installation. The customer assumes all responsibility for how their equipment is used after it leaves our facility. Any damage resulting from abuse, poor tuning, excessive voltage, or incorrect amplifier settings is not covered.
7. Chargebacks, Disputes & Legal Enforcement
Any attempt to reverse charges or file a fraudulent dispute through a credit card company, PayPal, or bank will be considered a breach of contract. We reserve the right to pursue legal action, collection efforts, and chargeback reversal fees. By paying any amount or leaving merchandise with AIC Car Audio, the customer agrees to these terms and waives the right to dispute charges related to custom services.
8. Agreement to Terms
By placing an order, leaving a deposit, or authorizing work with AIC Car Audio, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all policies stated above. These terms apply to all current and future transactions with AIC Car Audio unless otherwise stated in writing.
